أَوَلَا يَذْكُرُ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ أَنَّا خَلَقْنَـٰهُ مِن قَبْلُ وَلَمْ يَكُ شَيْـًٔا
کیا یہ انسان اتنا بھی یاد نہیں رکھتا کہ ہم نے اسے اس سے پہلے پیدا کیا حاﻻنکہ وه کچھ بھی نہ تھا.
Does man not remember that We created him before, while he was nothing?
وَإِذَا رَءَاكَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ إِن يَتَّخِذُونَكَ إِلَّا هُزُوًا أَهَـٰذَا ٱلَّذِى يَذْكُرُ ءَالِهَتَكُمْ وَهُم بِذِكْرِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ هُمْ كَـٰفِرُونَ
یہ منکرین تجھے جب بھی دیکھتے ہیں تو تمہارا مذاق ہی اڑاتے ہیں کہ کیا یہی وه ہے جو تمہارے معبودوں کا ذکر برائی سے کرتا ہے، اور وه خود ہی رحمٰن کی یاد کے بالکل ہی منکر ہیں.
And when those who disbelieve see you, [O Muḥammad], they take you not except in ridicule, [saying], "Is this the one who mentions [i.e., insults] your gods?" And they are, at the mention of the Most Merciful, disbelievers.
