يَـٰٓأُخْتَ هَـٰرُونَ مَا كَانَ أَبُوكِ ٱمْرَأَ سَوْءٍ وَمَا كَانَتْ أُمُّكِ بَغِيًّا
اے ہارون کی بہن! نہ تو تیرا باپ برا آدمی تھا اور نہ تیری ماں بدکار تھی.
O sister [i.e., descendant] of Aaron, your father was not a man of evil, nor was your mother unchaste."
وَلُوطًا ءَاتَيْنَـٰهُ حُكْمًا وَعِلْمًا وَنَجَّيْنَـٰهُ مِنَ ٱلْقَرْيَةِ ٱلَّتِى كَانَت تَّعْمَلُ ٱلْخَبَـٰٓئِثَ ۗ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ قَوْمَ سَوْءٍ فَـٰسِقِينَ
ہم نے لوط (علیہ السلام) کو بھی حکم اور علم دیا اور اسے اسی بستی سے نجات دی جہاں کے لوگ گندے کاموں میں مبتلا تھے۔ اور تھے بھی بدترین گنہگار.
And to Lot We gave judgement and knowledge, and We saved him from the city that was committing wicked deeds. Indeed, they were a people of evil, defiantly disobedient.
وَنَصَرْنَـٰهُ مِنَ ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَآ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ قَوْمَ سَوْءٍ فَأَغْرَقْنَـٰهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
اور جو لوگ ہماری آیتوں کو جھٹلا رہے تھے ان کے مقابلے میں ہم نے اس کی مدد کی، یقیناً وه برے لوگ تھے پس ہم نےان سب کو ڈبو دیا.
And We aided [i.e., saved] him from the people who denied Our signs. Indeed, they were a people of evil, so We drowned them, all together.
