وَإِذْ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِفَتَىٰهُ لَآ أَبْرَحُ حَتَّىٰٓ أَبْلُغَ مَجْمَعَ ٱلْبَحْرَيْنِ أَوْ أَمْضِىَ حُقُبًا
جب کہ موسیٰ نے اپنے نوجوان سے کہا کہ میں تو چلتا ہی رہوں گا یہاں تک کہ دو دریاؤں کے سنگم پر پہنچوں، خواه مجھے سالہا سال چلنا پڑے.
And [mention] when Moses said to his boy [i.e., servant], "I will not cease [traveling] until I reach the junction of the two seas or continue for a long period."
۞ وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى مَرَجَ ٱلْبَحْرَيْنِ هَـٰذَا عَذْبٌ فُرَاتٌ وَهَـٰذَا مِلْحٌ أُجَاجٌ وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَهُمَا بَرْزَخًا وَحِجْرًا مَّحْجُورًا
اور وہی ہے جس نے دو سمندر آپس میں ملا رکھے ہیں، یہ ہے میٹھا اور مزیدار اور یہ ہے کھاری کڑوا، اور ان دونوں کے درمیان ایک حجاب اور مضبوط اوٹ کردی.
And it is He who has released [simultaneously] the two seas [i.e., bodies of water], one fresh and sweet and one salty and bitter, and He placed between them a barrier and prohibiting partition.
أَمَّن جَعَلَ ٱلْأَرْضَ قَرَارًا وَجَعَلَ خِلَـٰلَهَآ أَنْهَـٰرًا وَجَعَلَ لَهَا رَوَٰسِىَ وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَ ٱلْبَحْرَيْنِ حَاجِزًا ۗ أَءِلَـٰهٌ مَّعَ ٱللَّهِ ۚ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
کیا وه جس نے زمین کو قرار گاه بنایا اور اس کے درمیان نہریں جاری کر دیں اور اس کے لیے پہاڑ بنائے اور دو سمندروں کے درمیان روک بنا دی کیا اللہ کے ساتھ اور کوئی معبود بھی ہے؟ بلکہ ان میں سے اکثر کچھ جانتے ہی نہیں.
Is He [not best] who made the earth a stable ground and placed within it rivers and made for it firmly set mountains and placed between the two seas a barrier? Is there a deity with Allāh? [No], but most of them do not know.
مَرَجَ ٱلْبَحْرَيْنِ يَلْتَقِيَانِ
اس نے دو دریا جاری کر دیے جو ایک دوسرے سے مل جاتے ہیں.
He released the two seas, meeting [one another];
