وَقُرْءَانًا فَرَقْنَـٰهُ لِتَقْرَأَهُۥ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِ عَلَىٰ مُكْثٍ وَنَزَّلْنَـٰهُ تَنزِيلًا
قرآن کو ہم نے تھوڑا تھوڑا کرکے اس لئے اتارا ہے کہ آپ اسے بہ مہلت لوگوں کو سنائیں اور ہم نے خود بھی اسے بتدریج نازل فرمایا.
And [it is] a Qur’ān which We have separated [by intervals] that you might recite it to the people over a prolonged period. And We have sent it down progressively.
تَنزِيلًا مِّمَّنْ خَلَقَ ٱلْأَرْضَ وَٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ ٱلْعُلَى
اس کا اتارنا اس کی طرف سے ہے جس نے زمین کو اور بلند آسمانوں کو پیدا کیا ہے.
A revelation from He who created the earth and highest heavens,
وَيَوْمَ تَشَقَّقُ ٱلسَّمَآءُ بِٱلْغَمَـٰمِ وَنُزِّلَ ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ تَنزِيلًا
اور جس دن آسمان بادل سمیت پھٹ جائے گا اور فرشتے لگاتار اتارے جائیں گے.
And [mention] the Day when the heaven will split open with [emerging] clouds, and the angels will be sent down in successive descent.
إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَزَّلْنَا عَلَيْكَ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ تَنزِيلًا
بیشک ہم نے تجھ پر بتدریج قرآن نازل کیا ہے.
Indeed, it is We who have sent down to you, [O Muḥammad], the Qur’ān progressively.
