وَبِٱلْحَقِّ أَنزَلْنَـٰهُ وَبِٱلْحَقِّ نَزَلَ ۗ وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَـٰكَ إِلَّا مُبَشِّرًا وَنَذِيرًا
اور ہم نے اس قرآن کو حق کے ساتھ اتارا اور یہ بھی حق کے ساتھ اترا۔ ہم نے آپ کو صرف خوشخبری سنانے واﻻ اور ڈرانے واﻻ بنا کر بھیجا ہے.
And with the truth We have sent it [i.e., the Qur’ān] down, and with the truth it has descended. And We have not sent you, [O Muḥammad], except as a bringer of good tidings and a warner.
نَزَلَ بِهِ ٱلرُّوحُ ٱلْأَمِينُ
اسے امانت دار فرشتہ لے کر آیا ہے.
The Trustworthy Spirit [i.e., Gabriel] has brought it down
فَإِذَا نَزَلَ بِسَاحَتِهِمْ فَسَآءَ صَبَاحُ ٱلْمُنذَرِينَ
سنو! جب ہمارا عذاب ان کے میدان میں اتر آئے گا اس وقت ان کی جن کو متنبہ کر دیا گیا تھا بڑی بری صبح ہوگی.
But when it descends in their territory, then evil is the morning of those who were warned.
۞ أَلَمْ يَأْنِ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَن تَخْشَعَ قُلُوبُهُمْ لِذِكْرِ ٱللَّهِ وَمَا نَزَلَ مِنَ ٱلْحَقِّ وَلَا يَكُونُوا۟ كَٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ مِن قَبْلُ فَطَالَ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلْأَمَدُ فَقَسَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ ۖ وَكَثِيرٌ مِّنْهُمْ فَـٰسِقُونَ
کیا اب تک ایمان والوں کے لیے وقت نہیں آیا کہ ان کے دل ذکر الٰہی سے اور جو حق اتر چکا ہے اس سے نرم ہو جائیں اور ان کی طرح نہ ہو جائیں جنہیں ان سے پہلے کتاب دی گئی تھی پھر جب ان پر ایک زمانہ دراز گزر گیا تو ان کے دل سخت ہو گئے اور ان میں بہت سے فاسق ہیں.
Has the time not come for those who have believed that their hearts should become humbly submissive at the remembrance of Allāh and what has come down of the truth? And let them not be like those who were given the Scripture before, and a long period passed over them, so their hearts hardened; and many of them are defiantly disobedient.
