وَيَسْـَٔلُونَكَ عَنِ ٱلرُّوحِ ۖ قُلِ ٱلرُّوحُ مِنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّى وَمَآ أُوتِيتُم مِّنَ ٱلْعِلْمِ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا
اور یہ لوگ آپ سے روح کی بابت سوال کرتے ہیں، آپ جواب دے دیجئیے کہ روح میرے رب کے حکم سے ہے اور تمہیں بہت ہی کم علم دیا گیا ہے.
And they ask you, [O Muḥammad], about the soul. Say, "The soul is of the affair [i.e., concern] of my Lord. And you [i.e., mankind] have not been given of knowledge except a little."
وَمَآ أُوتِيتُم مِّن شَىْءٍ فَمَتَـٰعُ ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَزِينَتُهَا ۚ وَمَا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ خَيْرٌ وَأَبْقَىٰٓ ۚ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ
اور تمہیں جو کچھ دیا گیا ہے وه صرف زندگی دنیا کا سامان اور اسی کی رونق ہے، ہاں اللہ کے پاس جو ہے وه بہت ہی بہتر اور دیرپا ہے۔ کیا تم نہیں سمجھتے.
And whatever thing you [people] have been given - it is [only for] the enjoyment of worldly life and its adornment. And what is with Allāh is better and more lasting; so will you not use reason?
فَمَآ أُوتِيتُم مِّن شَىْءٍ فَمَتَـٰعُ ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا ۖ وَمَا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ خَيْرٌ وَأَبْقَىٰ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ
تو تمہیں جو کچھ دیا گیا ہے وه زندگانی دنیا کا کچھ یونہی سا اسباب ہے، اور اللہ کے پاس جو ہے وه اس سے بدرجہ بہتر اور پائیدار ہے، وه ان کے لیے ہے جو ایمان ﻻئے اور صرف اپنے رب ہی پر بھروسہ رکھتے ہیں.
So whatever thing you have been given - it is but [for] enjoyment of the worldly life. But what is with Allāh is better and more lasting for those who have believed and upon their Lord rely
