وَإِذَآ أَنْعَمْنَا عَلَى ٱلْإِنسَـٰنِ أَعْرَضَ وَنَـَٔا بِجَانِبِهِۦ ۖ وَإِذَا مَسَّهُ ٱلشَّرُّ كَانَ يَـُٔوسًا
اور انسان پر جب ہم اپنا انعام کرتے ہیں تو وه منھ موڑ لیتا ہے اور کروٹ بدل لیتا ہے اور جب اسے کوئی تکلیف پہنچتی ہے تو وه مایوس ہوجاتا ہے.
And when We bestow favor upon man [i.e., the disbeliever], he turns away and distances himself; and when evil touches him, he is ever despairing.
ٱلَّذِىٓ أَحْسَنَ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ خَلَقَهُۥ ۖ وَبَدَأَ خَلْقَ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنِ مِن طِينٍ
جس نے نہایت خوب بنائی جو چیز بھی بنائی اور انسان کی بناوٹ مٹی سے شروع کی.
Who perfected everything which He created and began the creation of man from clay.
وَإِذَآ أَنْعَمْنَا عَلَى ٱلْإِنسَـٰنِ أَعْرَضَ وَنَـَٔا بِجَانِبِهِۦ وَإِذَا مَسَّهُ ٱلشَّرُّ فَذُو دُعَآءٍ عَرِيضٍ
اور جب ہم انسان پر اپنا انعام کرتے ہیں تو وه منھ پھیر لیتا ہے اور کناره کش ہوجاتا ہے اور جب اسے مصیبت پڑتی ہے تو بڑی لمبی چوڑی دعائیں کرنے واﻻ بن جاتا ہے.
And when We bestow favor upon man, he turns away and distances himself; but when evil touches him, then he is full of extensive supplication.
هَلْ أَتَىٰ عَلَى ٱلْإِنسَـٰنِ حِينٌ مِّنَ ٱلدَّهْرِ لَمْ يَكُن شَيْـًٔا مَّذْكُورًا
یقیناً گزرا ہے انسان پر ایک وقت زمانے میں جب کہ یہ کوئی قابل ذکر چیز نہ تھا.
Has there [not] come upon man a period of time when he was not a thing [even] mentioned?
