وَنُنَزِّلُ مِنَ ٱلْقُرْءَانِ مَا هُوَ شِفَآءٌ وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ۙ وَلَا يَزِيدُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ إِلَّا خَسَارًا
یہ قرآن جو ہم نازل کر رہے ہیں مومنوں کے لئے تو سراسر شفا اور رحمت ہے۔ ہاں ﻇالموں کو بجز نقصان کے اور کوئی زیادتی نہیں ہوتی.
And We send down of the Qur’ān that which is healing and mercy for the believers, but it does not increase the wrongdoers except in loss.
هُوَ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَكُمْ خَلَـٰٓئِفَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ فَمَن كَفَرَ فَعَلَيْهِ كُفْرُهُۥ ۖ وَلَا يَزِيدُ ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ كُفْرُهُمْ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ إِلَّا مَقْتًا ۖ وَلَا يَزِيدُ ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ كُفْرُهُمْ إِلَّا خَسَارًا
وہی ایسا ہے جس نے تم کو زمین میں آباد کیا، سو جو شخص کفر کرے گا اس کے کفر کا وبال اسی پر پڑے گا۔ اور کافروں کے لئے ان کا کفر ان کے پروردگار کے نزدیک ناراضی ہی بڑھنے کا باعﺚ ہوتا ہے، اور کافروں کے لئے ان کا کفر خساره ہی بڑھنے کا باعﺚ ہوتا ہے.
It is He who has made you successors upon the earth. And whoever disbelieves - upon him will be [the consequence of] his disbelief. And the disbelief of the disbelievers does not increase them in the sight of their Lord except in hatred; and the disbelief of the disbelievers does not increase them except in loss.
قَالَ نُوحٌ رَّبِّ إِنَّهُمْ عَصَوْنِى وَٱتَّبَعُوا۟ مَن لَّمْ يَزِدْهُ مَالُهُۥ وَوَلَدُهُۥٓ إِلَّا خَسَارًا
نوح (علیہ السلام) نے کہا اے میرے پروردگار! ان لوگوں نے میری تو نافرمانی کی اور ایسوں کی فرمانبرداری کی جن کے مال واوﻻد نے ان کو (یقیناً) نقصان ہی میں بڑھایا ہے.
Noah said, "My Lord, indeed they have disobeyed me and followed him whose wealth and children will not increase him except in loss.
