وَلَوْلَآ أَن ثَبَّتْنَـٰكَ لَقَدْ كِدتَّ تَرْكَنُ إِلَيْهِمْ شَيْـًٔا قَلِيلًا
اگر ہم آپ کو ﺛابت قدم نہ رکھتے تو بہت ممکن تھا کہ ان کی طرف قدرے قلیل مائل ہو ہی جاتے.
And if We had not strengthened you, you would have almost inclined to them a little.
قَالَ تَٱللَّهِ إِن كِدتَّ لَتُرْدِينِ
کہے گا واللہ! قریب تھا کہ تو مجھے (بھی) برباد کر دے.
He will say, "By Allāh, you almost ruined me.
