وَمَن كَانَ فِى هَـٰذِهِۦٓ أَعْمَىٰ فَهُوَ فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ أَعْمَىٰ وَأَضَلُّ سَبِيلًا
اور جو کوئی اس جہان میں اندھا رہا، وه آخرت میں بھی اندھا اور راستے سے بہت ہی بھٹکا ہوا رہے گا.
And whoever is blind in this [life] will be blind in the Hereafter and more astray in way.
وَمَنْ أَعْرَضَ عَن ذِكْرِى فَإِنَّ لَهُۥ مَعِيشَةً ضَنكًا وَنَحْشُرُهُۥ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ أَعْمَىٰ
اور (ہاں) جو میری یاد سے روگردانی کرے گا اس کی زندگی تنگی میں رہے گی، اور ہم اسے بروز قیامت اندھا کر کے اٹھائیں گے.
And whoever turns away from My remembrance - indeed, he will have a depressed [i.e., difficult] life, and We will gather [i.e., raise] him on the Day of Resurrection blind."
قَالَ رَبِّ لِمَ حَشَرْتَنِىٓ أَعْمَىٰ وَقَدْ كُنتُ بَصِيرًا
وه کہے گا کہ الٰہی! مجھے تو نے اندھا بنا کر کیوں اٹھایا؟ حاﻻنکہ میں تو دیکھتا بھالتا تھا.
He will say, "My Lord, why have you raised me blind while I was [once] seeing?"
