قُلِ ٱدْعُوا۟ ٱلَّذِينَ زَعَمْتُم مِّن دُونِهِۦ فَلَا يَمْلِكُونَ كَشْفَ ٱلضُّرِّ عَنكُمْ وَلَا تَحْوِيلًا
کہہ دیجیئے کہ اللہ کے سوا جنہیں تم معبود سمجھ رہے ہو انہیں پکارو لیکن نہ تو وه تم سے کسی تکلیف کو دور کرسکتے ہیں اور نہ بدل سکتے ہیں.
Say, "Invoke those you have claimed [as gods] besides Him, for they do not possess the [ability for] removal of adversity from you or [for its] transfer [to someone else]."
سُنَّةَ مَن قَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا قَبْلَكَ مِن رُّسُلِنَا ۖ وَلَا تَجِدُ لِسُنَّتِنَا تَحْوِيلًا
ایسا ہی دستور ان کا تھا جو آپ سے پہلے رسول ہم نے بھیجے اور آپ ہمارے دستور میں کبھی ردوبدل نہ پائیں گے.
[That is Our] established way for those We had sent before you of Our messengers; and you will not find in Our way any alteration.
ٱسْتِكْبَارًا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَكْرَ ٱلسَّيِّئِ ۚ وَلَا يَحِيقُ ٱلْمَكْرُ ٱلسَّيِّئُ إِلَّا بِأَهْلِهِۦ ۚ فَهَلْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا سُنَّتَ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ ۚ فَلَن تَجِدَ لِسُنَّتِ ٱللَّهِ تَبْدِيلًا ۖ وَلَن تَجِدَ لِسُنَّتِ ٱللَّهِ تَحْوِيلًا
دنیا میں اپنے کو بڑا سمجھنے کی وجہ سے، اور ان کی بری تدبیروں کی وجہ سے اور بری تدبیروں کا وبال ان تدبیر والوں ہی پر پڑتا ہے، سو کیا یہ اسی دستور کے منتظر ہیں جو اگلے لوگوں کے ساتھ ہوتا رہا ہے۔ سو آپ اللہ کے دستور کو کبھی بدلتا ہوا نہ پائیں گے، اور آپ اللہ کے دستور کو کبھی منتقل ہوتا ہوا نہ پائیں گے.
[Due to] arrogance in the land and plotting of evil; but the evil plot does not encompass except its own people. Then do they await except the way [i.e., fate] of the former peoples? But you will never find in the way [i.e., established method] of Allāh any change, and you will never find in the way of Allāh any alteration.
