وَإِذَا قَرَأْتَ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ جَعَلْنَا بَيْنَكَ وَبَيْنَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ حِجَابًا مَّسْتُورًا
تو جب قرآن پڑھتا ہے ہم تیرے اور ان لوگوں کے درمیان جو آخرت پر یقین نہیں رکھتے ایک پوشیده حجاب ڈال دیتے ہیں.
And when you recite the Qur’ān, We put between you and those who do not believe in the Hereafter a concealed partition.
فَٱتَّخَذَتْ مِن دُونِهِمْ حِجَابًا فَأَرْسَلْنَآ إِلَيْهَا رُوحَنَا فَتَمَثَّلَ لَهَا بَشَرًا سَوِيًّا
اور ان لوگوں کی طرف سے پرده کر لیا، پھر ہم نے اس کے پاس اپنی روح (جبرائیل علیہ السلام) کو بھیجا پس وه اس کے سامنے پورا آدمی بن کر ﻇاہر ہوا.
And she took, in seclusion from them, a screen. Then We sent to her Our Angel [i.e., Gabriel], and he represented himself to her as a well-proportioned man.
