وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَٱتَّقَوْا۟ لَمَثُوبَةٌ مِّنْ عِندِ ٱللَّهِ خَيْرٌ ۖ لَّوْ كَانُوا۟ يَعْلَمُونَ
اگر یہ لوگ صاحب ایمان متقی بن جاتے تو اللہ تعالیٰ کی طرف سے بہترین ﺛواب انہیں ملتا، اگر یہ جانتے ہوتے۔
And if they had believed and feared Allāh, then the reward from Allāh would have been [far] better, if they only knew.
ٱلَّذِينَ ٱسْتَجَابُوا۟ لِلَّهِ وَٱلرَّسُولِ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَآ أَصَابَهُمُ ٱلْقَرْحُ ۚ لِلَّذِينَ أَحْسَنُوا۟ مِنْهُمْ وَٱتَّقَوْا۟ أَجْرٌ عَظِيمٌ
جن لوگوں نے اللہ اور رسول کے حکم کو قبول کیا اس کے بعد کہ انہیں پورے زخم لگ چکے تھے، ان میں سے جنہوں نے نیکی کی اور پرہیزگاری برتی ان کے لئے بہت زیاده اجر ہے.
Those [believers] who responded to Allāh and the Messenger after injury had struck them. For those who did good among them and feared Allāh is a great reward -
وَلَوْ أَنَّ أَهْلَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَٱتَّقَوْا۟ لَكَفَّرْنَا عَنْهُمْ سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمْ وَلَأَدْخَلْنَـٰهُمْ جَنَّـٰتِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ
اور اگر یہ اہل کتاب ایمان ﻻتے اور تقویٰ اختیار کرتے تو ہم ان کی تمام برائیاں معاف فرما دیتے اور ضرور انہیں راحت و آرام کی جنتوں میں لے جاتے۔
And if only the People of the Scripture had believed and feared Allāh, We would have removed from them their misdeeds and admitted them to Gardens of Pleasure.
وَلَوْ أَنَّ أَهْلَ ٱلْقُرَىٰٓ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَٱتَّقَوْا۟ لَفَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِم بَرَكَـٰتٍ مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَـٰكِن كَذَّبُوا۟ فَأَخَذْنَـٰهُم بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَكْسِبُونَ
اور اگر ان بستیوں کے رہنے والے ایمان لے آتے اور پرہیزگاری اختیار کرتے تو ہم ان پر آسمان اور زمین کی برکتیں کھول دیتے لیکن انہوں نے تکذیب کی تو ہم نے ان کے اعمال کی وجہ سے ان کو پکڑ لیا۔
And if only the people of the cities had believed and feared Allāh, We would have opened [i.e., bestowed] upon them blessings from the heaven and the earth; but they denied [the messengers], so We seized them for what they were earning.
