وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ إِلَّا رِجَالًا نُّوحِىٓ إِلَيْهِمْ ۚ فَسْـَٔلُوٓا۟ أَهْلَ ٱلذِّكْرِ إِن كُنتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ
آپ سے پہلے بھی ہم مَردوں کو ہی بھیجتے رہے، جن کی جانب وحی اتارا کرتے تھے پس اگر تم نہیں جانتے تو اہل علم سے دریافت کر لو.
And We sent not before you except men to whom We revealed [Our message]. So ask the people of the message [i.e., former scriptures] if you do not know.
وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَا قَبْلَكَ إِلَّا رِجَالًا نُّوحِىٓ إِلَيْهِمْ ۖ فَسْـَٔلُوٓا۟ أَهْلَ ٱلذِّكْرِ إِن كُنتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ
تجھ سے پہلے جتنے پیغمبر ہم نے بھیجے سبھی مرد تھے جن کی طرف ہم وحی اتارتے تھے پس تم اہل کتاب سے پوچھ لو اگر خود تمہیں علم نہ ہو.
And We sent not before you, [O Muḥammad], except men to whom We revealed [the message], so ask the people of the message [i.e., former scriptures] if you do not know.
وَلَقَدْ كَتَبْنَا فِى ٱلزَّبُورِ مِنۢ بَعْدِ ٱلذِّكْرِ أَنَّ ٱلْأَرْضَ يَرِثُهَا عِبَادِىَ ٱلصَّـٰلِحُونَ
ہم زبور میں پند ونصیحت کے بعد یہ لکھ چکے ہیں کہ زمین کے وارث میرے نیک بندے (ہی) ہوں گے.
And We have already written in the book [of Psalms] after the [previous] mention that the land [of Paradise] is inherited by My righteous servants.
لَّقَدْ أَضَلَّنِى عَنِ ٱلذِّكْرِ بَعْدَ إِذْ جَآءَنِى ۗ وَكَانَ ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُ لِلْإِنسَـٰنِ خَذُولًا
اس نے تو مجھے اس کے بعد گمراه کردیا کہ نصیحت میرے پاس آپہنچی تھی اور شیطان تو انسان کو (وقت پر) دغا دینے واﻻ ہے.
He led me away from the remembrance after it had come to me. And ever is Satan, to man, a deserter."
صٓ ۚ وَٱلْقُرْءَانِ ذِى ٱلذِّكْرِ
ص! اس نصیحت والے قرآن کی قسم.
